The weather may be cold but the bulbs are starting to show, summer is just around the corner and the Spondon Safari is returning in 2024 in memory of Roy Battelle who started the first Safari and helped with many more.
This years event will take place on the weekend of 6/7th July 2024 in conjunction with the Village Improvement Committee Summer Fair and a Spondon Archive exhibition at the Village Hall.
Spondon Safari is a bit like open gardens on steroids, with the added extra of raising money for your personal charity by selling home-made tea and cakes or produce or even having a yard sale.
We hope that you will join us this year to support your charity and add a bit of excitement to Spondon village life.
So, tidy those borders, start baking the cakes and dust off your bric-a-brac and let’s have a bigger and better Safari in 2024.
