Have your say on the proposed wind turbines for Spondon

Public consultation has now begun on Severn Trent Water's planning application to erect wind turbines at their sewage treatment plant in Spondon.

The proposal is for two turbines of up to 80 metres in height with blades up to 52 metres long each.

Full details of the planning application is now online to view on the Derby City Council eplanning portal by clicking here. You can view full details of the proposal and download detailed documents relating the planning application. A copy of the application, plans and any other documents submitted may also be inspected at Roman House, Friar Gate, Derby during office hours.

Residents have until November 8th to express their opinions, for or against the proposal. You can express your views via the website above, via email to developmentcontrol@derby.gov.uk or in writing to:
