Safer Neighbourhood Team - April update

Spondon SNT would continue to remind residents to keep their vehicles secure.

There are still thefts from vehicles taking place in the Spondon area and these are mainly from insecure vehicles with valuables on display.  Please take your valuables with you, or place them out of view, don’t make your vehicle an easy target.  The message is simple, Lock it or lose it!

Free bike marking:

Join us at Cyclomonster on the Asda Island, Spondon on Saturday 2nd May from 10am to 3pm for a bike marking event and FREE crime prevention advice. We will be engraving your bikes for FREE and also protecting bikes using “Bike Register”.

Safer Spondon will be in attendance, selling crime prevention items including SmartWater.  Use it to mark your property and then register it online for only £20 (includes lifetime registration fee) through Safer Spondon!

Police surgeries:

Our police surgeries are on the first Monday of each month at the Spondon Police office, Sitwell Street.  Please drop in between 5-6pm. (May’s surgery is Monday 11th due to bank holiday.)
